Ethics Statement
Code of Ethics:
Technium Social Sciences Journal is committed to the editorial principles of all aspects of publication ethics, conflict of interests, and publication malpractice as assigned by the Committee on Public Ethics.
The Editorial Board is dedicated to being transparent concerning ethical requirements for both authors and the work we publish. We encourage the authors to read, understand, and follow the Technium Social Sciences Publication Ethics Policy before posting your work for review.
First, we expect that all submitted work must be original, and any cited text must be referenced. Technium Social Sciences seeks to protect the reputation of our journal against malpractice. We reserve the right to remove an article from the journal and ban the author from publication in the journal in case plagiarism is detected. For this reason, all the received submissions are checked using the Plagiarism Detector service, to identify overlapping and similar text.
Technium Social Sciences Journal does not tolerate using another person's work without proper citation. The same applies to self-plagiarism when using a work or part of a work that has been previously published. This also applies to work written in English or any foreign language.
In case if the manuscript contains materials that overlap with work that is in the process of being reviewed or accepted for publication in other journals, the author(s) must cite or reference this work in their new article.
While we allow self-citation, authors must avoid extensive referencing of their work for the reason to increase their own citation score. In case a new manuscript is a continuation of previously published work and self-citation is not avoidable, it should be stated in the Acknowledgements section.
Technium Social Sciences Journal does NOT accept manuscripts that were previously submitted but rejected in case if review comments had been provided. Otherwise, the Editorial Board would need to be informed about why the author(s) is re-submitting the same article.
Conflict of Interest:
Conflict of Interest may apply to Authors, Reviewers, and Editors and should be avoided on all levels. We take confidentiality very seriously during the blind peer review. In case it is detected or brought to the Editorial Board’s attention, the specific situation would need to become transparent and evidence investigated. The Editor-in-Chief would make the final decision.
From the editorial perspective, even though we collect the names and email addresses entered in this journal site, we will use this information exclusively for the article publication purposes in this journal and will not make this information available for any other purpose or to any other party.
This journal also applies the Creative Attribution Common License to works we publish and allows reuse and remixing of its content in accordance with a CC-BY 4.0 license.
